Siouxsie the fliouxsie is toting her iouxsie and making me feel a bit wiouxsie.

If I had any friends near to where I live, I’d go out drinking with them. I don’t, so I chop up bits of other people’s records instead.

Here’s tonight’s effort:

10000 Spoons – Uzi & The Banshees by 10000spoons

I thought of the title halfway through uploading it. Can’t be bothered to change the filename or id3 tags, you can do it yourself if you want.

The Glitchy and Scratchy Shoooooooow

A new alias, an old Squarepusher track and a couple of hours playing with a 50 Cent acapella and the Glitch VST plugin = this beast:

Monty, you terrible…

May 2, 2010

Woo, an update. For those of you who don’t know, I like to put tunes on top of other tunes. I heard the Commodore 64 version of the Monty On The Run soundtrack by Rob Hubbard the other day* and, being me, decided to put loads of old rap/R’n’B acapellas over the top. More hackneyed than the E8 postal district, but hey:

If you prefer irritating fake gangster twunts from Leicester singing through their nose over the top of sea shanties, on the other hand…

And staying with the nautical theme – well, it’s short, anyway:

My copy of Acid Pro 4 finally broke so that’s all from me for now.

*Monty On The Run – classic British 8-bit platform game. Rob Hubbard – 8-bit composer for the Commodore 64. Commodore 64 – 28-year-old computer, not as good as the Spectrum but with better sound. Do keep up at the back.
